Curtin University is one of Australia’s largest and most research-active universities, known for its strong industry connections and practical, student-focused approach to learning. With a diverse student community and a commitment to innovation in teaching, Curtin supports learners in developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their academic and professional pathways.

I designed the user interface for a digital learning platform aimed at supporting first-year university students as they transition into academic study. The platform provides interactive modules that teach essential skills such as academic research, referencing, and effective study techniques.

My role involved conducting user research, developing wireframes, building high-fidelity prototypes, and testing the interface with students to ensure clarity, accessibility, and ease of use. Working closely with Curtin University stakeholders, I refined the visual layout, navigation patterns, and user flows to create an intuitive and engaging learning experience. The final solution combines clean visual design with practical functionality to help students build confidence and independence in their study practices.
