How to integrate your email signup form on your Webflow site

Want to integrate an email signup form on your Webflow site? I have collected detailed instructions for a variety of popular email marketing providers to make this process as easy as possible for you.

Many companies nowadays are pretty keen on building their mailing list by collecting email addresses via their Webflow site. This can be done with a variety of tools including ConvertKit (my favourite), MailChimp, Mailer Lite, ConstantContact and others. But how can you easily integrate these tools into your site? That’s what we’ll talk about in this blog article.

MailChimp

One of the most popular email marketing provider MailChimp isn’t too hard to integrate and Webflow even has their own video tutorial on how to do this here: https://youtu.be/F4GVzi44vMY

If you prefer reading instead of watching, have a look at their tutorial here: https://university.webflow.com/integrations/mailchimp-form-integration

ConvertKit

I personally use ConvertKit for my own mailing list and haven’t been disappointed. Does it play well with Webflow? It certainly does! You can check out ConvertKit’s tutorial here: https://help.convertkit.com/en/articles/3519008-integrating-convertkit-forms-with-webflow

FloDesk

While FloDesk doesn’t have a dedicated guide on how to integrate their tool into Webflow, you can easily follow their “How to add an opt-in form to your website” article and follow the directions there. Basically you have to copy certain code snippets from FloDesk into Webflow’s custom code settings. You can read more about it here: https://help.flodesk.com/en/articles/3200763-how-to-add-an-opt-in-form-to-your-website

Mailer Lite

Mailer Lite also uses custom code to embed the embed the email signup form into your Webflow site. To read instructions on how to do this, check out their article here: https://www.mailerlite.com/help/how-to-create-an-embedded-form

ConstantContact

ConstantContact also utilises an embed code to integrate their form on your site. You usually style the form inside ConstantContact (albeit styling options are a little limited) and determine the text and fields included before embedding the code on your site. You can find an article about how to embed your form here: https://knowledgebase.constantcontact.com/articles/KnowledgeBase/18053-activating-and-installing-your-sign-up-form?lang=en_US

Remember, you can also combine an email signup form with a popup – I just recently did this for a client who is using Constant Contact as their email provider – and have it appear once the user scrolls down the page or even after a certain amount of time has passed (usually several seconds).
